You can find random civilizations, dungeons, boss lairs, etc. This exploration game is a true gem, created by a small independent studio called Deli Interactive. Players work together to explore its vast depths in their very own submarine. There are diverse biomes that youll find as you go deeper. We Need To Go Deeper is a fun cooperative roguelike set beneath the ocean. Its like a rogue-like but with submarines. If so, go and find any game you think is deserving of this tag and make a custom tag for it called "crew sim"! If enough people do it, eventually Steam will recognize the tag and make it public, which means it will be included in the suggestion algorithms! Sometimes I wanna get inside that Escalade and crash it. That said this game is a lot more relaxed, thats for sure. So what do ya say? Wanna help name the genre? So here's my pitch for what we should call this tag - "crew sim" - it's short, simple, and descriptive, and can be applied to the vast majority of this up-and-coming genre. ![]() And since there's no tag to identify these types of games, I say we make one so that the communities of these other games and the Deeper community can start intermingling a little more, and to help people discover more games like this! Some notable examples include Guns of Icarus, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator, Sea of Thieves, etc.Īnyway! There's no doubt that folks who like these games would also be interested in We Need To Go Deeper, and vice versa! However, Steam's suggestion algorithms don't see these similarities and operates only on "tags" that each game is given. As most of you are well aware, We Need To Go Deeper is by no means the only game out there that utilizes a "ship crew" style of co-op where multiple players are all working together to operate a larger piece of equipment/machinery.
